joanna macy is rocking my world

i blogged about her--and there's some friend or another who wants to remain otherwise anonymous who is writing to me as the universe--and though i hear it through him in his playful, creative banter, where i really hear the call to respond to the call and response universe is in the voice of joanna macy--who i read about for margaret lindsey's class last night.

she calls me to community, to common action, to tribe, to growing food and taking care of animals and other children.

the action i take in response to the call is to double down on learning more.
this is my art action.
i share the word of her work in my wider world.
i intend it to bring the voice of my friend, posing as the universe, an additional view from which to write.
